Spellings - Red Words

We have now reached the end of our Red Words.

This week, use the PowerPoint, to continue to recognise the Set 1 Red Words we learned in January. Use the PowerPoint everyday and see if you can get quicker at recognising these words by sight. You may even like to make your own set of Red Word cards!

Virtual Meet

Join us on Google Meet at 1.30pm to introduce The Three Little Pigs.

As a reminder:

1. Please make sure your child is in a shared living space, not their bedroom.

2. They will need to be dressed ready for learning.

3. Please ask them not to film or take pictures of the screen.

4. Please turn microphone off and camera on, the teacher will ask children to turn their microphones on when appropriate.

5. We ask a parent to be present with your child at the start of the call.

Other

Create your own Three Little Pigs puppets and retell the story (a cut-out activity available below). Try to use real objects, you could build your own houses, maybe you have some spaghetti that could be the hay? Act out the story. How do you think the Three Little Pigs were feeling? What about the wolf? What do you think the Three Little Pigs and Wolf thought at the end of the story?

It would be lovely to see a short film (1 minute at most) of this activity uploaded to Tapestry.
