As we would in school, we shall now begin to recap the Set 2 Sounds, gaining more confidence with spotting, sounding, blending and writing with them. Each week, we will spend time looking at one of our sounds again.
Today, please re-watch the introduction to Set 2 Sound (ee)
Blending Book & Ditty Sheet Groups (Directed via Tapestry)
-Read Blending Book or Ditty Sheet.
-If needed, encourage your child to sit for the Word Time lessons for Set 1 Sounds.
Continue to practice reading using the Grapple books. These will be placed on Tapestry each week. Read the story three times to allow for fluency, comprehension and prosody. Record reading in the children's Reading Diaries.
Red Ditty Book Group (Directed via Tapestry)
-Read Ditty (1st Read).
-Complete the RWI 'Complete a Sentence' activity. There is a video tutorial for the children available on the Tapestry post for today's Ditty.
-Write activities into Remote Learning books or for those that prefer a worksheet, here is today's activity (there is no expectation for these to be printed):

Spellings - Red Words
We have now reached the end of our Red Words.
This week, use the PowerPoint, to continue to recognise the Set 1 Red Words we learned in January. Use the PowerPoint everyday and see if you can get quicker at recognising these words by sight. You may even like to make your own set of Red Word cards!
Join us on Google Meet at 1.30pm to introduce The Three Little Pigs.
As a reminder:
1. Please make sure your child is in a shared living space, not their bedroom.
2. They will need to be dressed ready for learning.
3. Please ask them not to film or take pictures of the screen.
4. Please turn microphone off and camera on, the teacher will ask children to turn their microphones on when appropriate.
