Mr Evans' Challenge

Look at this picture. How many shells are there? How did you know? Are they lined up like they are in a ten frame? Are there more or less buttons? What about marbles?

Now look at this picture. Which representation do not show 9? How do you know?

Spellings - Red Words

Today's focus is: when

As we would do in school, show and say the word to your child, then ask them to recall it to you. Encourage your child to use this word within their own sentence i.e. When will it be lunch?

As an extra challenge, ask your child to record the word in their Remote Learning Book, they could even complete a simple sentence written for them i.e. It is day ____ the sun shines.
