-Using the picture below, Say the Sound (My Turn, Your Turn), Fred Talk the words (b_l_ow), then blend. Can they use Fred in the Head to write these words into their Remote Learning Book?

-Encourage your child to sit for the Word Time and Spelling lessons for Set 1 Sounds.
(Most children should now be confident with Set 1 Sounds)
- Have a piece of paper or their Remote Learning Book to hand, where they will try to write the words seen in the video. They will tick their work during the video.
Continue to practice reading, a new books will be placed on Tapestry each week.
-Read the story three times to allow for fluency, comprehension and prosody. Record reading in the children's Reading Diaries.

Mr Evans' Maths Challenge
-Can you write your numerals 0-3?
-Practise forming numerals 0, 1, 2 and 3 using the rhyme to help.
-As we would with phonics, write the numerals into your child's Remote Learning Book and allow them to trace over that numeral. Can they then write five themselves? Ask your child to circle their best one.

Spellings - Red Words
Today's focus is: she
As we would do in school, show and say the word to your child, then ask them to recall it to you. Encourage your child to use this word within their own sentence i.e. She was tall.
As an extra challenge, ask your child to record the word in their Remote Learning Book, they could even complete a simple sentence written for them i.e. __ was happy.
