-Give your child opportunities to sound out or write words with these sounds. Could they add to your shopping list? Write a card?  

-Use PhonicsPlay and recap this weeks sounds and others to blend with real and nonsense words. 

Red Words

Reading

Continue to record all reading on your child's online reading diary. RWI books are sent home on Monday and Grapple Books on Thursday. Each book should be read at least three times for fluency, comprehension and prosody. Your child will be reading a slightly different book in class. 

Maths

This week, as well as beginning to use Rekenreks the children have been consolidating some of the work they have done over the year. Can you work through this Flashback with your child.
