Make Contact

We suggest popping in or calling us so that we can discuss your requirements in the first instance.  You might want specific days and times and we can easily check this for you.  We'll always encourage you to come for a visit - you'll soon know if this feels like the right setting for your child.

The paperwork!

Once you've decided our preschool is right for you we'll give you an application form and discuss a start date.  Shortly before your child starts with us, Victoria, our Early Years teacher will make contact to arrange a visit/meeting.   This will usually be at school but we are also happy to come and visit you at home too. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions and provide us with all the information we need.  Victoria will ask you to fill out a registration form and some other forms and arrange for you and your child to come for a series of taster sessions.

Taster Sessions

These are a valuable opportunity for you to spend time in the setting with your child, get a feel for the routines and show your child that you like and trust the people who will be looking after your child.  This will be really important in helping your child to settle and feel happy.

Our staff provide a stimulating, supportive environment for children and the preschool has the advantage of having access to the wonderful, wider school grounds, including our woodland glade, allowing all children the opportunity to discover and explore the world around them in a unique and richly-resourced setting.

The preschool classroom is a vibrant learning environment, with zoned areas such for role play, painting and messy play area, book corner, small world area and a big carpet space for construction, cars or trains. The adjoining outside space allows for the children to flow freely between inside and outside in their play. The space outside has many activities for the children to enjoy such as water and sand, while the playground offers the perfect terrain for large construction,  bikes and trikes.
