Job/Person Summary

We are delighted to be offering an exciting opportunity for a highly committed and passionate teacher to join our school team.

Wellow primary is a single form entry school who converted to an academy in 2020 and joined the University of Winchester Multi Academy Trust.  We work closely with a likeminded group of 5 primary schools, which brings countless benefits and support for staff and children.

You will be joining a very committed staff and your ability to work well within our team is crucial. Excellent support will be available from colleagues in our school and the wider Trust.

Salary Details:£13,800 in first year, rising to £14,500 from September 2023

Hours of Work:Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm. 52 week contract.

Job/Person Summary

This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the site management team working for the University of Winchester Academy Trust (UWinAT), located at Wellow Primary School, on the outskirts of Romsey. 

We are seeking to appoint an excellent, committed and enthusiastic Caretaker for our happy and successful school. The ideal candidate will need to be hard working, dependable, able to use own initiative, have excellent communication skills and show flexibility in their approach to their duties. A range of practical and DIY skills are essential to ensure our school is safe and well maintained for our pupils and staff.

Responsibilities will largely focus on the maintenance of our school buildings and grounds, so applicants will need some level of maintenance skills as well as a practical knowledge of health and safety; experience of grounds or gardening work is desirable.  

The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate that they can work without supervision as well as work as part of a busy team.
